Miss J.J. is a 20 year old junior at Frostburg State and is currently a Law and Society major. Jalá is also the secretary/team manager of the FSU’s Strutters Dance Team. She has been dancing since the age of 6. Her deep passion for dance started when she was in middle school. She has trained in ballet, contemporary, pointe, lyrical, hip hop, and modern dance. During her junior and senior years of high school she danced competitively. Jalá chose Frostburg for their law program, and to continue practicing her craft in dance. She hopes to continue dancing throughout her 4 years while making her way toward her law degree.
